About ARA Nordic

ARA Nordic was established in 2024 as a subsidiary of ARA Timber and is run by Per-Åke Bergh. With more than 15 years of experience in the production and sales of sawn and planed wood products, the company combines solid expertise with a genuine passion for high-quality Nordic timber. ARA Nordic and its parent company ARA Timber have long-standing experience in the international timber trade and have built strong, well-established collaborations with sawmills and processing industries throughout the Nordic region.

By understanding each customer’s business and specific requirements, ARA Nordic aims to make everyday operations smoother and to support improved profitability. The core focus is on sawn and planed wood products, but there is a deep appreciation for wood as a sustainable, versatile material. ARA Nordic is always open to discussing opportunities for both large-scale and smaller projects where Nordic wood plays a central role.

• Planing, wood treatments, kiln drying, precision cutting, storage and related services through trusted wood processing partners
• Distribution of high-quality timber products, including Thermowood, oak and core pine, available on request
• Consultation and expert advice on material selection for decking, cladding and outdoor environments – ensuring the right type of wood in the right place
